Our Puppies

Puppy will have:

​

• All medical records (shots, de-worming, and exam)

• A 16 to 20 pound bag of puppy’s food mama and puppy are used to (we recommend Purina Puppy Chow, great on their little tummies)

• Whatever toy it has been favoring, and an item that smells like mama

• A packet of puppy pads

• A collar and a leash

Double Doodles are known for being friendly, adaptable, and easy to train. We recommend looking into a training routine early! Their poodle genes help them adapt and learn so quickly, and they really do have such a low-shedding coat! To help keep them healthy, you can avoid feeding Double Doodles high-fat meals and table scraps, and stick to their diet. Their tummies can be sensitive (think about that rug you care about), if fed too much people food. But don't stress too much if they grab a cracker off the floor.

Double doodles are also known to be extremely calm and patient, and are considered great family pets for this very reason. Double Doodles are intelligent and friendly dogs, and our puppies will be about 20 pounds fully-grown. They do well with a quick, 20-minute walk (a great job for teenagers), but are pretty chill if you miss a day or two. They tend to do well with other dogs, and enjoy spending time socializing with family and other animals. A dog park once a week is a great way to get out their wiggles!
